About Fantanka

A pioneering women-led civil society organization dedicated to advocacy and rights in The Gambia.

Who We Are

Fantanka is a pioneering, women-led civil society organization based in The Gambia, dedicated to advocating for gender equality, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) rights, and the rights of marginalized groups.

Through our programs—Safe Spaces, Girls Talk, and Youth Beach Campeh—we create environments where women, girls, and young people can access support, build capacity, and amplify their voices for change.
