Between 17 and 30 April 2025, Fantanka held safe space engagements in Bansang, Jarra Pakalinding, and Daddy Jobe Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, introducing over thirty students to transitional justice, the African Union Transitional Justice Policy, and SGBV.
Read more →On 12 April 2025, Fantanka held a storytelling activity in Jamburr with 20 out-of-school children, built around Fantanka's TRRC child-friendly report. The intention was to make the national story legible and personal — through a format children already recognise as authoritative: community storytelling.
Read more →In 2023, Fantanka's partnership with Charter 70 and Our Nation Our Voice focused on reigniting public discussion on something Gambians often treat as separate: transitional justice and constitutional design. After the draft constitution failed to pass, a new opportunity emerged.
